 Abby Ballain joined the Iowa Cultural Corridor Alliance in August of 2010. Originally from Shenandoah, Ballain brings a unique background in business and arts management to ICCA. She holds a specialized MBA focused in arts and nonprofit management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Bolz Center for Arts Administration and a B.A. in Music Management from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.
Prior to joining ICCA, Ballain served as the Marketing Project Assistant with the Madison Symphony Orchestra where she was instrumental in increasing the organization’s "Club 201" attendance by 20% over one year. She also worked as manager of the Madison-based Ancora String Quartet. Prior to these roles, Ballain worked as a project manager for Epic Systems Corporation in Verona, Wisconsin, where she focused on strategic development for ambulatory practice roll-outs, specializing in access and revenue. |
