Coe Assistant Professor of Physics Ugur Akgun will be giving the first informal “Cosmic Café” talk entitled “The Dawn of New Physics at the Large Hadron Collider at the Cern Lab – on the Swiss-French border.” The presentation will be held at the Jambayz Island Grill, 305 Second Ave. SE in Cedar Rapids on Saturday, April 21, beginning at 11 a.m. Appetizers and beverages will be served, and the public is invited to participate at no charge.  more >>
