Peggy Seeger comes from the foremost family in American folk music. Her father was a well-known folklorist and musicologist. Her mother, Ruth Crawford Seeger, was one of the most accomplished female composers of the 20th century. Her siblings include folk music icon Pete Seeger, as well as the late Mike Seeger, a performer of traditional music who appeared at CSPS in 2000.  more >>
