Iowa Cultural Corridor Alliance presents “Getting Grants” on October 23 Posted: 9/28/2012
The Iowa Cultural Corridor Alliance (ICCA) will hold a new programming event, Getting Grants, on Tuesday, October 23, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the University Conference Center, Room 2520D, located on the second floor of Old Capitol Mall in downtown Iowa City. Join ICCA for a joint presentation by the Community Foundation of Johnson County and the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation. Participants will receive valuable information about the various grant programs available to non-profit arts organizations and how to seek grant funding and assistance with planned gifts or endowments. Immediately following the program, attendees will have the opportunity to network with ICCA partners while enjoying hors d'oeuvres and beverages. The Iowa Cultural Corridor Alliance is delighted to provide professional development opportunities hosted throughout the Corridor. Each event includes a learning session lasting approximately one hour followed by a social hour with complimentary appetizers and beverages. Attendees are welcome to come and go during the events as their schedule allows. The Iowa Cultural Corridor Alliance ( www.culturalcorridor.org ) is an alliance of more than 150 cultural organizations in the Eastern Iowa Corridor. The mission of ICCA is to promote the varied cultural activities of its partner organizations and to nurture a sustainable cultural community.
