Iowa Cultural Corridor Alliance
The Iowa Cultural Corridor Alliance (ICCA) is an alliance of over 150 cultural organizations in the Eastern Iowa Corridor. ICCA defines the Corridor as Linn and Johnson Counties and the nine adjacent counties. The mission of ICCA is to promote the varied cultural activities of its partner organizations and to nurture a sustainable cultural community. This is done through advocacy-focused events, educational programming, arts and culture awareness, cultural tourism, and building strong relationships throughout the community.

ICCA’s website, CulturalCorridor.org, was created to provide a "one stop shop" for residents and visitors to the Corridor to find out what is happening in the area. Our partner organizations add their events to this site so that those interested in arts and cultural happenings can find out what is going on and when in a centralized location. You can easily search our site by date using the Calendar Tab. Search by keyword, event category, time, city, or organization by using the Advanced Search Tab.
Partnership with the Alliance
As professionals in the arts and culture sector, both ICCA and its partner organizations understand that to succeed, both parties must have a vested interest in the alliance relationship. Thus, ICCA focuses not on memberships, which can be construed as a one-way relationship, but instead on partnerships, where both parties must assist in making the relationship work. ICCA partnerships take two forms: Partners (nonprofit arts and cultural/governmental organizations) and Friends and Business Partners (individuals and for-profit organizations whose primary mission is related to arts and culture or who would believes in ICCA’s mission and vision and would like to participate). Both types of partners receive many benefits through their yearly dues, which are outlined below in the application documents.
