Chamber Music Now at the Hiawatha Public Library

Saturday, December 02, 2006; 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Red Cedar Chamber Music

College students, violist JoAnna Cochenet and cellist Andrew Stern from Coe College and violinist Rebecca Neely from the University of Iowa, join Red Cedar Chamber Music professional flutist Jan Boland to perform tuneful early 19th-c. flute quartets by Ferdinand Ries. This free performance at the Hiawatha Library is part of Red Cedar Chamber Music's Chamber Music Now program, sponsored by William P. Whipple. Chamber Music Now gives exceptionally talented high school and college students an opportunity to rehearse and perform with seasoned professional musicians. Sponsorship support also provided by the James and Norma Jean Rosborough Foundation, Rockwell Collins, Target Stores, the City of Marion and the Iowa Arts Council.
