The Downtown Iowa City Gallery Walk is a self-guided walking tour of concurrent art openings at about seventeen locations in Iowa City's Old Capitol Cultural District. The event takes place from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. on a Friday night three times annually. Gallery Walk is a family-friendly event that is free and open to the public. Refreshments are served, and exhibits are ongoing at least through the month.
Dates for 2012 Gallery Walks are March 2, June 1 & October 5.
